Clustering Search Demo

To demonstrate the Clustering capabilities of Carrot2 we did set a clustering Search Server online. It’s available here

some examples:

Usage: Click the examples, study the search terms, if you don’t find what you’re looking for, click on one of the clusters to drill down your search results. Alternatively, change or add new terms until you find what you’re looking for.

Tips for searching
  • Try to be specific. The more the better! For example when you are looking for an ebook and you know the title and author, mention both in your query, or even better: Find the ISBN. This is a code which is unique for the book. When you search for the ISBN code of a book you almost can’t miss! These codes will only appear in online bookstores or inside the real ebook. You have the best chances with ICT books! Why? Website administrators or webmasters often order the ebooks they need online and sometimes (accidentally) store a copy in a directory on the webserver, where it’s indexed (and thus findable).

I tried some ISBN numbers of IT books (look them up at Google Books, Amazon or and soon had a complete library of books!

As an example search for 978-1-4842-1071-0 and see what you can find!
